Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire a block of flats in Oakwood Close, Hither Green.
Half of a flat on the second floor of the building was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1212 and the fire was under control at 1255. Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Forest Hill and Eltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
