Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to a fire at a garage in Ballards Way, South Croydon this afternoon.
Part of an integral garage and part of the ground floor of an adjoining house were damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1243 and the fire was under control at 1413. Fire crews from Croydon, Addington and Woodside fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
