Kensington - townhouse fire

Five fire engines and 31 firefighters and officers were a fire at a townhouse in Argyll Road, Kensington in the early hours of this morning.

Part of the roof of the four floor house was damaged by fire.

Three people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 0300 and the fire was under control at 0522. Fire crews from Chelsea, North Kensington, Fulham and Kensington fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
