Firefighters from Shoreditch quickly dealt with a bus blaze outside Liverpool Street station yesterday morning.

The fire was very visible and the Brigade's 999 control centre took a number of calls to the double decker fire. No reports of any injuries.

"No passengers were on board at the time, and the driver alighted safely. There will be a full investigation into the incident."
