Bromley – maisonette fire

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a block of flats in Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley in the early hours of this morning.

Part of a split level maisonette on the ground and first floor was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 0010 and the fire was under control at 0058. Fire crews from Bromley, Orpington and Beckenham fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
