Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to a fire in a shipping container on Channel Gate Road in Willesden.
The fire inside the container is out and crews cooled down a gas cylinder that was involved as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade was called at 1509 and the fire was under control by 1714. Fire crews from Park Royal, Willesden, North Kensington and Ealing fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
