Three fire engines were called to a fire at a house in Roxeth Green Avenue, South Harrow.
Part of the ground floor of a terraced house was damaged by fire.
One woman, who was inside the property, was given fire survival guidance by the Brigade’s 999 control officers before being rescued by crews wearing breathing apparatus.
The Brigade was called at 2140 and the fire was under control at 2219. Fire crews from Northolt and Wembley fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
