Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at an office block under external renovation in Fleet Street, EC4A.
Part of a rooftop dome was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1019 and the fire was under control at 1147. Fire crews from Dowgate, Shoreditch and Soho fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
