Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a fire in nursery on Cambridge Road in Twickenham early this morning.
Part of a nursey located on the ground floor of the property was damaged by the blaze.
A man left a flat above before the arrival of the Brigade.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
The Brigade was called at 0321 and the fire was under control by 0420. Fire crews from Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston fire stations attended the scene.
