Plaistow – shed fire

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a shed on fire on Barclay Road in Plaistow this afternoon.

A tin shed attached to a unoccupied house was completely destroyed by the blaze. Fire crews forced entry into the house and stop the fire from spreading further.

The Brigade was called at 1853 and the fire was under control by 1955. Fire crews from Plaistow, East Ham, Stratford and Barking fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
