Numerous calls alert Brigade of car on fire at Islington roundabout

A huge amount of people saw a car burst into flame near Old Street roundabout in Islington last night.

Several calls alerted the Brigade to the blaze. One fire engine from Shoreditch fire station attended the scene and firefighters put out the fire in a few minutes.

Thankfully nobody was injured. The police were also on the scene to manage the traffic. The Brigade was called at 2216 and the fire was under control by 2232.
