Four fire engines and around twenty firefighters dealt with a fire at an industrial park on Maypole Crescent in Erith this morning.
Around 30 tonnes of rubbish in a large skip container were completely destroyed by the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1120 and the fire was under control by 1255. Fire crews from Erith, East Greenwich and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
