House fire in Harrow

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a house fire on Corfe Avenue in Harrow this afternoon.

The loft of a two storey house was entirely damaged by the blaze. Four residents left the property before the arrival of the Brigade.

Fire crews from Northolt, Southall and Hillingdon fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.

The Brigade was called at 1352 and the fire was under control by 1512.
