House or flat fire

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a flat fire on Staines Road in Feltham yesterday evening.

Part of a four roomed flat above a shop was badly damaged by the blaze. A man and two children left the property before the arrival of the Brigade, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.

The Brigade was called at 1933 and the fire was under control by 2023. Fire crews from Feltham and Twickenham fire stations and a fire engine from a neighbouring brigade attended the scene
