Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in an office block on Morland Road in Croydon this morning.
Part of the ground floor of the six storey disused property was damaged by the blaze, but thankfully there were no report of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0601 and the fire was under control by 0712. Fire crews from Woodside, Croydon, Norbury and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade’s officers and the police.
