Two fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on Wandon Road in Fulham yesterday evening (Saturday 2 July).
One person was involved in the fire on the ground floor of the terraced property. The fire was out when the Brigade arrived and a man and woman were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. Sadly the woman later died in hospital.
The Brigade was called at 1815 and the incident was over by 1832. Crews from Fulham and Battersea fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
