Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a flat fire on Kale Road in Erith this afternoon.
The fire damaged a five room flat on the eleventh floor of the 12 storey block.
The Brigade was called at 1627 and the fire was under control by 1708. Crews from Plumstead, Erith and Bexley attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
