Croydon - disused warehouse fire

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a disused warehouse in Croydon this morning.

The blaze damaged a small portion of the roof of three-storey building in Waddon Marsh. Crews wore breathing apparatus while they extinguished the flames.

The Brigade was called at 0545 and the fire was under control by 0637. Crews from Croydon, Wallington and Norbury fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
