Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a roof fire in a detached house on Hayes Lane in Beckenham.
Half of the roof was damaged by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1520 and the fire was under control at 1554. Fire crews from Beckenham, Woodside, Forest Hill and Lewisham fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
