Three buses involved in Parliament Square collision

Firefighters were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving three double decker buses on Parliament Square in Westminster this afternoon.

The Brigade assisted London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the Metropolitan Police with casualties at the scene. Twelve patients were treated by LAS at the scene, while around 35 other passengers left the three buses before the Brigade arrived

Three fire engines, a fire rescue unit and around 21 firefighters and officers from Soho, Lambeth, Euston and Shoreditch fire stations attended the incident.

The Brigade was called at 1449 and the incident was over by 1533.
