Small fire at Oxford Street shop

Twenty-one firefighters and officers were called to a small fire at a department store on Oxford Street last night. Some refuse bags in the loading bay area were damaged in the fire and there were no injuries.

Four fire engines from Soho, Euston and Paddington fire stations were at the scene.

The Brigade was called at 2208 and the fire was under control at 2256.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
