Firefighters were called to a flat fire on Stourcliffe Street in Marylebone this afternoon.
The fire damaged part of a first floor flat in the eight storey block. Two people escaped the property before the Brigade arrived and one man was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 1411 and the fire was under control by 1450. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Soho and Paddington fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
