Firefighters have rescued a man after the lift he was in dropped 30 feet. The man was stuck in the lift in the building on Austin Friars in EC2.
The lift dropped from the fifth floor to the second. Fire crews helped assist the man out of the elevator and he is being treated by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1100 and the incident was over for crews at 1140. Firefighters from Whitechapel and Shoreditch fire stations attended the scene.
