Firefighters called to Keston house fire

Firefighters attended a fire at a house on Leaves Green Road in Keston, Bromley, early this morning.

Two men left before the arrival of the Brigade and were treated for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service.

Sadly a third man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Half of the first floor was damaged by fire.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Biggin Hill, Addington and Bromley fire stations attended the incident.

The Brigade was called at 0653 and the fire was under control at 0820. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
