Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a small fire restaurant fire on Arcola Street in Hackney.
The fire damaged the restaurant’s extraction system. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1004 and the fire was under control by 1049. Fire crews from Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Homerton and Islington fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
