21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a block of flats on Hawley Road, Camden this morning.
Sadly, crews found a man in the flat who was declared dead at the scene. Over half of the second floor flat was damaged by the fire.
4 fire engines from Kentish Town, Euston and Tottenham fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 0828 and the fire was under control at 0917.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
