Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house on St Matthew’s Road, Brixton this afternoon.
A flat roof over a bay window on the first floor of the building was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1728 and the fire was under control at 1826. Fire crews from Brixton, Clapham, West Norwood and Peckham fire stations were called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
