Four fire engine and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a fire in a derelict building on North Circular Road in Southgate early this morning.
The ground and first floor of a disused building was severely damaged by the blaze. The property is undergoing demolition, and thankfully no one was injured.
The Brigade was called at 0133 and the fire was under control by 0337. Fire crews from Edmonton, Southgate and Tottenham fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Brigade officers and the police.
