Horse rescued at Keston farm

Firefighters have rescued a horse on Nash Lane in Keston this afternoon.

Passers by alerted the Brigade when they saw the animal stuck in a gate.

The horse, who had been apparently wandering around the marsh, had its two front legs trapped. Firefighters helped to release the animal by cutting the bottom of the gate.

The Brigade was called at 1220. Fire crews from Erith and Croydon fire stations attended the scene.
