Firefighters tackled a fire at a house on Lancaster Road in Wimbledon, yesterday evening.
The fire affected a semi-detached house of three floors and part of the first floor was damaged by fire.
Fortunately, no-one was injured in the blaze. The fire is believed to have been caused by a bedroom spotlight coming into contact with bedding.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Wimbledon, New Malden, Fulham and Wandsworth fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 2026 and the fire was under control at 2116. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
