Six fire engines and 35 firefighters attended a fire at a block of flats of ten floors on Portland Rise in Finsbury Park in the early hours of this morning..
Ten people evacuated form the block before the arrival of the Brigade and fortunately there were no injuries.
The fire affected a four roomed flat on the fifth floor, most of which was damaged by fire.
Firefighters from Islington, Holloway, Stoke Newington and Tottenham fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 0117 and the fire was under control at 0206. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
