Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended a fire at a block of flats on Albany Street, Regents Park.
One person left the six floor block before the arrival of the Brigade and there were no injuries.
Part of a four roomed flat on the first floor was damaged by fire.
Firefighters from Euston, Soho, Paddington and Kentish Town fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1007 and the fire was under control at 1115. The cause of the fire is not under investigation.
