An elderly man was freed from his car by firefighters after it collided with street furniture on Bell Road in Hounslow.
Fire crews used cutting equipment to release the man. London Ambulance Service crews took him to hospital.
The Brigade was called at 1020 and the incident was over at 1120. Firefighters from Heston, Feltham and Wembley fire stations were at the scene.
