Three escape Croydon house fire

Three adults escaped uninjured from a fire at a house on Davidson Road in Addiscombe, Croydon, early this morning.

The adults left the building before the arrival of the Brigade.

Half of the ground floor and part of the first floor was damaged by fire.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Woodside, Croydon and Norbury fire stations attended the incident.

The Brigade was called at 0254 and the fire was under control at 0346. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
