London firefighters assisted Essex Fire and Rescue Service at a light aircraft crash on Gravel Lane in Chigwell. The eight seater aircraft came down in a field at around 1020am.
Two fire engines from Hainault and Ilford fire stations attended the incident.

London Fire Brigade was called to assist at 1049 and firefighters left the scene at 1207.
