Firefighters tackled a fire at a garage at the rear of a house on Stainforth Road in Ilford, last night.
The single storey building was completely damaged by fire.
A cylinder found inside the garage was cooled to make it safe as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat. There were no injuries.
Two fire engines from Ilford fire station attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 2055 and the fire was under control at 2203. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
