Two fire engines and around ten firefighters were called to a fire in a terraced house on Aspen Green in Erith yesterday evening.
The fire damaged a small part of the ground floor and crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued a boy from the second floor via an internal staircase.
The Brigade was called at 1813 and the fire was under control by 1910. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
