Crews attended a fire at a house converted into two flats on Main Road in Romford this afternoon.
The entire roof was damaged by fire and thankfully there were no reports of any injuries.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham and Harold Hill fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1357 and the fire was brought under control at 1435. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
