Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to deal with a fire at a football club on Chalky Lane in Chessington, KT9 this afternoon.
The blaze damaged around 25 tonnes of rubbish.
The Brigade was called at 1444 and the fire was under control by 1607. Crews from Surbiton and New Malden fire stations, as well as two fire engines from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
