Firefighters rescued two people from a flat fire on Ingrave Street in Battersea, SW11, this afternoon.
The fire damaged part of a flat on the second floor of the eight storey block and crews used a ladder to bring the pair to safety.
The Brigade was called at 1232 and the fire was under control by 1317. Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Clapham, Fulham, Tooting and Wandsworth attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
