Firefighters were called to a burst water main on Aspen Lane in Northolt this morning
An area of open land the size of two football pitches flooded to a depth of around 15cm. Thankfully no neighbouring homes or major roads in the area were affected.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Southall and Northolt fire stations attended to pump away the flood water. The Brigade was called at 0718 and the incident was over by 1123.
