Recycling lorry fire near Old Bailey

Firefighters tackled a recycling lorry blaze on Limeburner Lane near The Old Bailey this morning.

The visible fire was made tougher because of the large number of rubbish inside the vehicle.

The Brigade was called at 0744 and the fire was under control by 1031. A fire engine from Dowgate fire engine and a fire rescue unit from Euston attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
