Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire at an electricity substation on King Henry’s Drive in Croydon last night (Monday).
The fire left part of the sub station damaged.
The Brigade was called at 2242 and the fire was under control at 0028. Crews from Croydon, Addington and Biggin Hill fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
