Publish risk assessments

We want faults published publicly and quickly

We want the risk assessments, undertaken when a fault is found with a product, to be published publicly.

At the moment, when a fault is found with a component in an appliance, manufacturers do not have to publish anything about how they decide what action needs to be taken.

What good would publishing risk assessments do?

Publication of risk assessments would make it easier for you to make a decision about the products you buy and own.

With more a transparent system you'd have all the facts and it would help us to find out more about the causes of fires.

Is it hard to produce risk assessments?

Manufacturers have to do the risk assessment anyway, so why not publish them?

Help us make manufacturers publish all the details you need to make decisions about your safety.

Take action today. Start by helping us call for a single recall register.
