Sadly, a woman has died in a flat fire on Sibella Road, Clapham.
Part of a first floor flat was damaged by fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus discovered the woman in the flat and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1913 and the fire was under control at 2014. Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Clapham and Brixton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
