Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house converted into flats on Amesbury Avenue in Streatham.
Part of a three roomed flat on the second floor was damaged by fire. Part of the flat roof was also damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1925 and the fire was under control by 1951. Fire crews from West Norwood and Brixton fire stations attended the scene.
