Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a waste centre on Civic Way in Ruislip.
Around 200 tonnes of rubbish within an internal rubbish pit was alight. Around 30 members of staff left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1414 and the fire was under control by 1608. Fire crews from Northolt, Wembley and Southall fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
