A man has sadly died in hospital following a fire at a block of flats in Thessaly Road in Battersea.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to the fire on January 9.
Half of a first floor flat was damaged by fire.
One man was treated at the scene by London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital. He sadly passed away in hospital on April 5.
One woman suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0812 and the fire was under control at 0940. Fire crews from Clapham, Lambeth and Brixton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
