Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers have dealt with a fire in a laundrette on Grove Street in Deptford this afternoon.
The fire damaged part of the ground floor business which had flats above it.
The Brigade was called at 1309 and the fire was under control by 1345. Crews from Lewisham, Greenwich and Dockhead fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
