Fire at a café - Maida Vale

Fire at commercial property

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a cafe on Lauderdale Road, Maida Vale.

Part of the ground floor café was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 0437 and the fire was under control at 0620. Fire crews from Paddington and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.

The fire is believed to be accidental and caused by the unsafe disposal of shisha coals.
